Created for the Washington State Emergency Nurse Association as an expression of gratitude to their nurses.
The hands are drawn with reflections from emergency nurses about what has inspired them to do this work during extraordinary times. The heart is drawn with personal stories and messages of gratitude from patients and their loved ones.
These phases are pieced together from individual submissions as well as quotes taken from the documentary film “In Case of Emergency”. As you read through this description you will hear from a wide variety of people and perspectives. I have typed these quotes into one continuous message so that we can get a sense of the collective perspective.
