“Fathoms” is an oil painting on board hand etched with chemical formulas. Using a fine blade, Sienna etched the chemical formula for luciferin into the paint, revealing white white board and fluorescent paint beneath. The original etching glows under a black light. Hand painted black light versions of the canvas prints will be available soon.
